Productivity and Creativity are two of the most important characteristics of a designer. In order to improve both I have tracked and graphed my personal work habits. As you can see, my productivity is fairly consistent throughout most of
the work day, although I do require some startup time in the morning in order to reach my full potential. I also tend to see drops in productivity at meal times. Years of school have trained me in the art of the 2 AM project finish.
My creativity is much more sporadic and I find it comes in bursts throughout the day. Once again we see the effect of low blood sugar on brain chemistry at breakfast, lunch and supper times, but there's always a quick recovery after a
meal. I hope these statistics demonstrate my thoroughness as a worker and designer.
To obtain gainful and enriching employment in the field of design to gain experience and broaden my skillsets whilst benefitting myself and hopefully my employer with knowledge and monetary gain.

Radiohead Kid A Promotional Poster
The goal of this project was to create a poster of any kind using a hand painted texture incorporated into a digital piece in some way. I created a spackle texture
by splattering paint on a piece of card, scanned it and integrated it with complex geometric forms and typography to create a cold, desolate
feeling poster. For those not familiar with the album, I feel it reflects the audial aesthetic very well in a visually complimentary manner. This was also a
very rushed piece and was completed in approximately 12 hours over the course of a single day.
Interpretive Typography - Chocolate
This project's goal was to create typographic treatments that made the viewer emote or understand the word not only for its meaning, but also
through its texture, colour and character. The pieces were created in Blender 2.5 in 2009 before I transitioned to 3DS Max. At the time they took several days to
complete whereas now with the larger toolsets of 3DS Max available to me, as well as an expanded skillset, I would be able to create similar pieces in a few
hours and have them be at a much more exceptional level.
Interpretive Typography - Soft
Interpretive Typography - White Space
Infographic - Film Formats
Infographics are a major passion of mine and I love to create them in my spare time and for work. Above is an infographic displaying various film formats and some basic information
about them. I have a passion for photography, especially analog photography, and I wanted to express to people that film photography isn't just hazily remembered snapshots
on an old minolta, riddled with grain and light leaks. Nor was it the domain of hipsters and toy cameras. True quality can be obtained with film, especially in the larger formats and slower speed
films. I wanted the information to speak loudest so I used a subdued palette, nondescript helvetica and simple swiss design. Click the image to see it in vector format.
